Career Assistant, Career Services
Luckson is currently pursuing a BA in Mathematics and Finance with an Actuarial
Science concentration. He has completed several actuarial exams, participated in
industry training programs, and gained experience in actuarial modelling & pricing
through his work at Corebridge Financial. He will be joining New York Life as an
actuarial intern in Summer 2026, continuing to sharpen his technical and professional
skill set.
Luckson is committed to helping students strengthen their quantitative confidence and
navigate the early stages of their professional development. He enjoys working
alongside students as they prepare résumés, refine their career goals, and build the
analytical skills that will carry them into internships and long-term opportunities.
On campus, Luckson serves as the president of the CSS Actuarial Society, a peer tutor
in Finance, Economics, & Accounting in the Saints Learning Commons, and a TA in the
Mathematics Dept.
Outside academics, he enjoys playing chess, playing piano, and reading poetry. He also
enjoys being the best brother that he can to his five beautiful sisters.

Ella Oppong Cudjoe
Career Assistant
With a strong passion for healthcare and student development, Emmanuella Oppong Cudjoe is
a sophomore Nursing major at The College of St. Scholastica. She currently works as both a
Career Assistant in the Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) and an Office Assistant on
campus. In her roles, Emmanuella enjoys connecting with students, helping them explore career
opportunities, and supporting their professional growth. She is dedicated to learning how to
provide compassionate, patient-centered care and hopes to use her nursing education to make
a positive impact in her community.
Outside of work and classes, Emmanuella enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music,
and exploring new experiences that broaden her perspective.

Tendoe Kahari
Career Assistant
Rutendo is a junior majoring in Biochemistry on a premedical track. She is passionate about health equity and using research as a tool for positive social impact. She previously worked on mycobacteriophage research, exploring how phage genes influence bacterial growth, and is now pivoting into organic chemistry research. In addition, Rutendo is part of the Innovation Scholars program, where her team collaborates with the Mayo Clinic on the early-stage commercialization of biomedical technologies. Rutendo loves working as a Career Assistant in the Center for Experiential Learning because it allows her to leverage her existing skills to help peers articulate their goals, and navigate opportunities that align with their aspirations.
Jesse Twumasi-Ankrah
Office Assistant
Jesse Twumasi-Ankrah is a student at The College of St. Scholastica majoring in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Health Informatics. He works as an Office Assistant in the Center for Experiential Learning, supporting students in booking appointments and helping manage the center’s social media presence.
Originally from Ghana, Jesse previously worked as a Sales and Marketing Officer before pursuing his studies in the United States. He enjoys working in the CEL because it gives him the opportunity to connect with students, share campus resources, and highlight meaningful learning experiences through social media. In his free time, Jesse enjoys playing the piano and exploring new places around Duluth.

Judith Umez
Office Assistant
Judith Umez is a biochemistry major with chemistry and psychology minors at the College of St. Scholastica. She is passionate about research, especially projects related to brain aging, drug development, and computational chemistry. One of her favorite experiences so far has been contributing to an analytical fermentation research project through the Analytica-CSS-ITESO collaboration with students from both the U.S. and Mexico. This project helped her discover how much she enjoys hands-on science and deepened her excitement for pursuing future research opportunities, particularly those that support emerging minority scientists.
Judith also loves working in the Center for Experiential Learning (CEL). She enjoys helping students find opportunities, build confidence, and take steps toward their academic and career goals. Watching someone discover a path they didn’t know existed is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.
Outside of work, Judith enjoys making playlists, exploring hidden-gem music genres, crocheting, and taking scenic photography.
If she could share one piece of career advice, it would be this: stay curious, ask questions, and go after opportunities even when you feel underqualified. Growth happens when you push yourself outside your comfort zone.
