Faculty and Staff
Career Services partners with faculty and staff to prepare students for meaningful work. Following are the most common ways we can collaborate with you:
- Classroom, club or student presentations – offered on a variety of topics including: resumes, cover letters, job/internship search, interviewing, career assessments, salary negotiation. Reach out to careers@css.edu or complete this presentation request form to schedule.
- Join our next Career Champion program – scheduled for spring 2027! This program empowers faculty and staff to support student career development by equipping them with tools, resources, and strategies to integrate career conversations into everyday interactions. Email careers@css.edu if you are interested.
- Classroom, club or event speakers – brainstorm ideas for professionals or alumni that meet your program or class goals.
- Promote our events and employer engagement -opportunities to your students and classes. Read the CEL weekly newsletter, watch announcements or contact us for details.
- Integrate High Impact Practice – in your classes – connect with us to discuss ways these may be incorporated.
- Refer Students – connect students with our office if they could benefit from our resources or meeting with a Career staff member.
